KEVIN JOHNSON

Kevin JohnsonKEVIN JOHNSON (Ensemble) is an actor, singer, dancer, director and visual artist. He has worked as an actor for 40 years and a graduate from the University of Evansville. Kevin has worked with IRT, the Phoenix Theatre, Edyvean Theatre, Indianapolis Civic Theatre, Soul People Repertory Theatre, Actors’ Inc., The San Francisco Mime Troupe, Intersection of the Arts in San Francisco, Indianapolis Opera Company, Footlite Musicals, where he won an encore award for the musical “Grand Hotel”. He toured Europe with the Chorale Ayers while studying in England. He has worked Summer-stock Theatres with Cross- Roads Repertory Theatre in Terre Haute, The Weathervane Theatre in Whitefield, New Hampshire, and Memphis Black Rep in Memphis, TN. He has also worked in film and TV. He had a feature character role in the Movie film Short: “A Song for Jade” which won awards in San Francisco, Oakland and the Los Angeles Black Film Awards. Since his return to Indianapolis, Kevin has worked with the Asante Children’s Theatre, Freetown Village, Spotlight Players, Indy Bard, and NoExit Performances.
